Hello planters

... closing time is approaching fast

  • The potting bench is past its used-by date and is going to retire — and so are we. Yes, we’re in the process of closing down the nursery. And to all our loyal customers, a big thank you for your business over the years. We’re going to miss you all.
  • Our last regular day was August 21.
  • We now have very little stock — but still some excellent plants in a few lines, which you can purchase by arrangement, as below.
  • Click on our current price list to see what stock is available, and if there are plants you are interested in, send us an email (here) and we’ll get back in touch to arrange a time for you to view.

Need help? After the nursery has closed, Grant will continue to provide onsite consultations for those needing help with their rural plantings. He can use his years of experience to help you plan your gardens, drive plantings, shelterbelts, screens or firewood lots and paddock plantings, including beautifying hillsides and gullies. Email with enquiries.

Please note: Many of the plants listed in our on-line plant description catalogue are no longer in stock, but we have left this information on our website to hopefully be a helpful source of information when you’re doing your planning.

And don’t forget to take a look at our library of editorials and our Handy Hints for help solving common planting dilemmas.

While you're here, check out www.coatesville.org.nz, a quick guide to our peaceful valley, which lies just 10 minutes north of Auckland's fastest-growing city of Albany. Quiet country charm abounds in Coatesville, along with great coffee, exceptional food, landmark gardens, a bustling market, accommodation and more.
